A complete charge from empty to full takes approximately two hours using the included micro-USB cable. You can plug the cable into any standard USB port on a computer, wall adapter, or portable battery pack.
The earbuds provide voice prompts to announce battery level when you power them on. A red indicator light on the inline module glows during charging and turns off when the battery reaches full capacity.
The BackBeat GO is designed as a stereo pair with both earbuds connected by a cable, so you cannot use them independently. The left and right earbuds each carry one channel of the stereo audio signal.

We recommend wiping the earbuds dry after sweaty sessions and storing them in the included carrying pouch. Avoid wearing them in heavy rain or during water sports, as moisture can enter the driver housings and affect performance.
Start with the medium ear tips that come pre-installed on the earbuds. If they feel loose or don't seal properly, try the large tips. If they cause pressure or discomfort, switch to the small tips.

The connection strength depends on your device's Bluetooth radio as well. Newer phones with Bluetooth 4.0 or higher generally provide stronger signals than older models. If you notice frequent dropouts at shorter distances, try moving your phone to a different pocket or position.
The BackBeat GO can store pairing information for up to eight devices, but it connects to only one device at a time. To switch between devices, disconnect Bluetooth on the current device and then connect from the new device's Bluetooth menu.
The earbuds remember your most recently paired devices, so reconnecting to a familiar phone or tablet usually happens automatically when you power on the earbuds. You do not need to repeat the full pairing process unless you exceed eight stored devices.
Incoming calls automatically pause your music and ring through the earbuds. Press the multifunction button once to answer the call, and your music will resume when you end the call by pressing the button again.
If you prefer to ignore the call, press and hold the multifunction button for two seconds to reject it and return to your music immediately. The same controls work consistently across iOS, Android, and other smartphone platforms.
