Makes managing my headset effortless
I use three different Plantronics headsets across my home office, car, and gym. Hub keeps all the settings synced and automatically switches to the right profile when I pair each device. The firmware updates happen silently in the background—I never have to think about it.

Perfect for hybrid work setups
The integration with Teams and Zoom is flawless. I answer calls with my headset button and mute myself without hunting for on-screen controls. Battery notifications keep me from getting caught with a dead headset mid-meeting.

Custom EQ is a game-changer
I created separate audio profiles for calls versus music, and the difference is night and day. Voices sound clear and natural on calls, and bass hits perfectly when I’m listening to playlists. Switching between profiles takes one click.

Great software, minor UI learning curve
Hub does everything I need—firmware updates, call controls, battery monitoring. The interface took me a few days to fully explore, but once I figured out where everything lives, it’s been smooth sailing. Would love a dark mode option.

Device health tracking saved my headset
Hub flagged unusual battery drain and suggested a pairing reset. I followed the steps, and my Voyager headset went from dying after three hours back to lasting the full workday. That kind of proactive troubleshooting is incredibly useful.

Mobile app is surprisingly robust
I use the iOS version to manage my BackBeat headphones, and it’s almost as full-featured as the desktop app. The Find My Headset feature has saved me twice already when I left them in my gym bag.

Good to know

Plantronics Hub setup & troubleshooting

Plantronics Hub works with most wireless and USB headsets released after 2016, including Voyager, Savi, BackBeat, Blackwire, and Calisto series. Older models may support basic features like battery status and firmware updates but won’t access advanced customization tools. Check the compatibility list on our download page to confirm your specific model.

No internet connection is required for day-to-day use once the software is installed. Hub runs locally and manages headset settings offline. You’ll need internet access to download the installer, check for firmware updates, and sync custom profiles across devices if you sign in with a Plantronics account.

Hub is designed exclusively for Plantronics and Poly-branded headsets. The software won’t recognize or control third-party audio devices. If you connect a non-Plantronics headset, Hub will display a message indicating no compatible device is detected.

Launch Plantronics Hub with your headset connected. The software automatically checks for firmware updates and displays a notification if a new version is available. Click the notification to start the update process—your headset will install the firmware in under two minutes. Updates happen over Bluetooth or USB without interrupting active calls.

The Plantronics Hub mobile app includes most desktop features—equalizer control, firmware updates, battery monitoring, and call settings—plus mobile-specific tools like Find My Headset and location-aware profile switching. Advanced analytics and enterprise deployment options remain desktop-exclusive.

Yes. Hub remembers individual settings for every headset you pair and applies the correct profile automatically when you switch devices. The dashboard displays all connected headsets, and you can toggle between them to adjust settings independently. This is especially useful for users who rotate between office, mobile, and fitness headsets.

First, confirm your headset is powered on and within Bluetooth range or connected via USB. Restart Hub and re-pair the headset from your operating system’s Bluetooth menu. If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall Hub to refresh device drivers. Check our support documentation for model-specific troubleshooting steps, or contact our technical team for hands-on help.
